Fall activities...

Last weekend my family and I got to head up north to Flagstaff to do a lovely wedding, we ended up spending the weekend and stopping in Chino valley on the way home to visit this pumpkin patch- a real pumpkin patch is rare in AZ as you can imagine but this place was the real deal. So much fun to bring the kids, Emma loved picking our winning pumpkin and having a hayride and petting the ponies. Little Milo enjoyed watching all the action too. Check out my husband's lovely birch votive holders, we made these quite a while ago and just noticed yesterday they are sold on BHLDN too!

My baby is 5!!!

Today is a special day, it's my baby girl's birthday, she is such a big girl now I can hardly believe it. 5 years ago today she gave me the most important job of my life and made me the happiest I've ever been and have since been. Success in life is great to strive for, but it's nothing unless you have an awesome family to share it with. It's really great having Kym of Ventola photography as a close friend, she is not only so fun and cool to hang out with, but she's a blast to collaborate with as well, and super talented, just look at these cute photos! Oh yeah, and our families love to spend time together, Johnny and Emma have been BFF's since the womb and now go to Pre-K together. This is what we did last monday after school, just hanging out at Chez Ventola's :-)

Fun on the 4th!

Happy 4th of July, we woke up to Mr Big- "to be with you" which got us to thinking about our favorite 80s/90s music so naturally this is what we did this morning :-)

PS- no, that's not my husband's real hair, and yes, he's wearing my maternity short-shorts.

Vegas time...

We recently visited Las Vegas to meet up with my husband's family, 2 family members had conferences there so the rest of us made the trip out for a fun filled few days. I'm not a Vegas fan- at all. I guess I just don't get the allure, but we did have a great time with family and even enjoyed a night out on the town and some interesting sights...
