Orange blossom

March in Phoenix is my favorite time of year even though it shouldn't be since summer is right around the corner, but it is the month of the orange blossoms, particularly the tangelo tree in our backyard. I love the intense smell of these flowers, they remind me of jasmine. These necklaces and earrings are inspired by my favorite flower, they are hand cut, dyed and pressed linen flowers with bronze tipped stamens and brass chains with recycled scrap leather leaf details- and will be available at the Frances crafeteria on Friday dec 10th! I loved working on these custom pieces- her colors were aqua, pink, red and ivory, it was so perfect because I had just re-watched Marie Antoinette and had all those lovely colors swirling around in my head!
