Productive afternoon...

After the office work for Jolie Jour flowers, the errand running, making a dent in the ever present pile of laundry, lunch making, phone call making, emergency trip to supertarget for dish gloves (my hands can't take it anymore) light cleaning, story book reading, nap taking (Emma), email responding, mental list making, real list making, mail getting, bill receiving, bill paying (me sighing) I finally had some time for art projects that will be for sale in Paperjoy (in the La Grande Orange plaza) by the end of this week. Whew! Now, time to make dinner...

DIY wall art

I was inspired by my daughter's french flash cards- art needn't be expensive, I picked a card, mounted it on some cool paper and framed it. She was thrilled to see them on our walls and repeats the word when she passes them! I did the same a while back with T-shirts from my husband's and my childhood. Mine is the Philippines shirt and his is the Kawasaki from the 70s! So glad our Moms saved that stuff!
